Supporting wildlife conservation through the power of illustration

Elderly man holding framed owl artwork.

JANUARY 2018 - The charity held a Volunteers Celebration and gave a long service award to Jim, a dedicated volunteer of The Parks Trust for 20 years. Among the many things he has done for the charity, he goes out with their contractor and helps to ring young barn owls in the area which provide important information that supports conservation work. I was humbled to have donated a print of my Barn Owl portrait to this great achievement.

JUNE 2018 - I had the amazing opportunity to exhibit at the BBOWT College Lake Nature Reserve as a part of Bucks Art Weeks. Thirteen artists from The College Lake Artists donated 10% of their earnings, and the event raised over £31,000 for the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust.

MARCH 2018 - The Milton Keynes Natural History Society held their 50th Anniversary event at Chrysalis Theatre at Camphill. David Hopkins, the Mayor of Milton Keynes, presented the President of the Society, Roy Maycock a print of my illustration Badger which had been donated for this great achievement. I am so grateful to have been a part of this wonderful occasion. With thanks to Paul Lund for the photograph.

Realistic drawing of a fox looking up with a National Fox Welfare Society banner.

JUNE 2016 - I worked with the National Fox Welfare Society and drew a portrait of one of their rescued vixens, Aphrodite. The original piece was auctioned off to raise money for the incredible work they do for red foxes up and down the country. Prints were also sold through their Facebook group, Foxy Friends Auction.

MARCH 2019 - I had the pleasure of exhibiting a range of my British wildlife illustrations within the Rushmere Country Park café. Managed by The Greensand Trust, this 400-acres of woodland, heathland and meadows is known for its wildlife, helping to conserve and protect landscapes for all ages to enjoy.

JULY 2018 -  It is estimated that an elephant is poached for its ivory every 26 minutes. I proudly joined the Explorers for Extinction, Sketch for Survival campaign and drew this African Elephant. The original was auctioned and sold with all proceeds donated to African conservation.
